IU experts available to comment on 2021 NCAA men's Division I basketball tournament

INDIANAPOLIS -- The entire 2021 NCAA men's Division I basketball tournament will be held in Central Indiana, NCAA officials announced Monday. The three-week event, one of the most anticipated on the U.S. sports calendar, will include games at multiple venues in Indianapolis as well as Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall at Indiana University Bloomington and Mackey Arena at Purdue University, culminating with the Final Four on April 3 and 5 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. IU, IUPUI, Ball State University, Butler University and Purdue, as well as the Horizon League, are hosting and assisting with tournament operations. Most of the 68 participating teams are expected to stay in downtown Indianapolis in hotels connected to the Indiana Convention Center.
