The Andrew Mellon W. Foundation has awarded a four-year $1 million grant to IU Bloomington to support student and faculty research in the arts and humanities focused on Indiana studies and global popular music.

IU Kokomo students travel to Yellowstone National park for geology field experience

IU Kokomo students embarked on a weeklong trip to Yellowstone National Park as a part of a four-week summer course focusing on U.S. geology. The field experience gave the students an immersive look into not only the geology of the region, but also the wildlife.

Jesse Perez Mendez named founding dean of the IU School of Education at IUPUI

Mendez will begin at IUPUI Aug. 1, subject to approval by the IU Board of Trustees. He previously served as an associate dean at the College of Education and Human Performance at the University of Central Florida.
