External email flagging is now activated for all IU accounts. Starting July 24, messages received from non-IU email addresses will have an [External] tag added to the beginning of the subject line. You will also see a warning at the top of the message with a reminder to use caution when clicking, linking, or opening attachments from external sources.

This service can be turned off at any time by toggling the setting in the IU Security Center.
