Expert Bio

Professor Robert Kravchuk, a National Academy of Public Administration Fellow, is an internationally recognized expert in public administration and political economy, with special emphasis on Ukraine and Russia. He frequently writes and lectures on public budgeting, administrative reform and capacity building.

Kravchuk and authors Richard M. Clerkin and David H. Rosenbloom recently completed the eighth edition of the textbook “Public Administration: Understanding Management, Politics and Law in Public Sector. He is on the editorial board of the Journal of Public Budget, Accounting and Financial Management.

Areas of Expertise

Public finance, macro-budgeting, public debt markets, U.S. Defense Department Procurement Management, political economy of reform in formerly socialist countries.
