Ann Bastianelli is Teaching Professor in marketing at the IU Kelley School of Business. Her career spans more than 30 years in advertising agencies and corporate environments.

Her marketing work includes several remembered branding and advertising campaigns, including “2 scoops of raisins” for Kellogg’s Raisin Bran, the talking Parkay Margarine ads, Happy Meals and Ronald McDonald for the worldwide restaurant company, and Dow Bathroom Cleaner’s “Scrubbing Bubbles.”

She has been an advisor to Leo Burnett, McDonald’s, Kellogg’s, Kraft, DowBrands, Franklin-Covey, Indiana University, the University of Tennessee, IKON Office Solutions, Hillenbrand Industries and State Farm Insurance. She is president of Anthology Consulting, based in Indianapolis.

She has been quoted on advertising and marketing issues in The Wall Street Journal, Ad Age, Ad Week and Fast Company. She is the author of three books and has been a technical editor for two books in the “For Dummies” series – “Business Plan Kits for Dummies” and “Strategic Planning for Dummies.” She also holds a U.S. patent for her work in the funeral service industry.
