Peter J. Schubert is a professor of electrical and computer engineering. He holds 35 US patents and is the author of over 75 technical publications and is the principal investigator on research projects from the USDA, DOE, DOD and NASA, all related to renewable energy, energy harvesting and sustainability. He is an instructor with the Society of Automotive Engineers and has taught over 1,000 engineers from 17 countries in systems engineering and mechatronics system design.
Schubert is a recognized technology leader in multiple disciplines and provided consulting services to industry as the senior director for space, energy and education research at Packer Engineering Inc. in Naperville, Illinois, from 2006 until 2011. After returning to Delphi Electronics and Safety in Kokomo, Indiana, he was inducted into the Delphi Hall of Fame and promoted to Technical Fellow.
Schubert received his Ph.D. from Purdue University on a General Motors Fellowship.View full bio
