Expert Bio

Katrenia Reed Hughes is an assistant professor of organizational leadership in the School of Engineering and Technology at IUPUI and coordinates TLC’s project management education program. She has over a decade of experience teaching college students and 10 years’ experience working in corporate organizational development. She enjoys being in the classroom, and builds confidence through the application of learning.

Reed Hughes, known by her students and clients as Dr. K, is a keynote speaker, and provides management, executive coaching, team development, performance assessment, strategic planning, and Justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion consulting. She utilizes art and Legos to provide engaging and unique learning experiences. Her life mission is to help others put their passion to purpose.

Whether functioning in the role of teacher, therapist, consultant, facilitator, change agent, trusted advisor, project manager, performance coach or colleague, her primary motivation remains constant. She meets people where they are to help them articulate and realize their goals. Reed Hughes has a doctor of psychology from Indiana State University and a master’s degree in business administration from Butler University.
