Edward Hirt got his B.S. from the University of Dayton and his Ph.D. from Indiana University Bloomington. After brief stints at Penn State University and University of Wisconsin-Madison, he came back to IU in 1991, where he has been ever since. He has authored over 75 publications in peer-reviewed journals and has recently written a book titled "Self-Regulation and Ego Control." He has been called upon an expert witness for several trials (mostly in terms of trademark infringement) and has been featured in numerous sports media outlets, including the recent "Confessions of a Cubs Fan" film documentary.View full bio
