Bennett I. Bertenthal is the James H. Rudy Professor of Psychological and Brain Sciences and is also a faculty member of the Cognitive Sciences and Neurosciences Programs. From 2006 to 2010, he was dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at Indiana University. Prior to this appointment, he was a professor of psychology at the University of Chicago and also the assistant director of the Social, Behavioral and Economic Sciences directorate at the National Science Foundation. He is a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the Association for Psychological Science and the American Psychological Association.
