Shruti Rana, professor of international law practice and director of the B.A. in International Law and Institutions Program in the Hamilton Lugar School of Global and International Studies, has extensive experience in international corporate and international human rights law. Most recently, she served as of counsel at Brooks Pierce LLP and was a social affairs officer at the United Nations.
She was also a professor at the University of Maryland Law School, where she helped develop the school’s International and Comparative Law Clinic, and a visiting professor at UC Berkeley Law School. She practiced international, corporate and administrative law at Williams & Connolly LLP and Quinn Emanuel LLP, and she clerked for the Judge James Browning, U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit.View full bio
