Expert Bio
Debi Mink, a former longtime teacher and school administrator, is an associate professor in the School of Education and elementary coordinator at IU Southeast.
Mink was a teacher and administrator in the Miami, Florida, school system for 33 years. After her early retirement, she moved to Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina. There she taught elementary mathematics methods and was director of Student Academic Services and director of the REX Institute, where she monitored all clinical experiences. She came to IU Southeast in 2014 and has been teaching elementary mathematics methods and general elementary methods in both the undergraduate and graduate programs.
