Expert Bio

Sandy Block is a project coordinator at the Center on Community Living and Careers. She began working in human services in 1983, with one of Kentucky’s first supported employment programs. She has assisted with grass-roots program development; conversion implementation; customized employment outcomes, including self-employment; and technical assistance.

She has presented nationally and locally at TASH, Summer Institute, Arc Chapters and state APSE chapters. She has delivered content training to colleagues from Ireland and Australia. She collaborated on a Journal of Vocational Rehabilitation article focusing upon strengthening the role of employee.
