Expert Bio
Gil Latz is professor of geography and philanthropy and associate vice chancellor for international affairs at IIUPUI; and associate vice president for international affairs at Indiana University. His comparative regional development policy research includes affiliation with Tokyo University (Japan) and University of Florence (Italy). Recent publications: assessing international learning (U.S.); landscape history (Italy/U.S.); civil society leadership (Japan); and transnational regional development (Asia). He serves as Association of International Education Administrators past president, 2017-18; and senior associate for internationalization for the American Council on Education.
