Expert Bio

Adam Henze is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Literacy, Culture and Language Education in the School of Education, and he works as a graduate assistant in the Center on Education and Lifelong Learning at the Indiana Institute on Disability and Community. He is the director of Slam Camp: A Performance Poetry Intensive at Indiana University and previously worked as an associate instructor in the Department of English and for the Student Academic Center. Henze makes a living as a performance poet and workshop facilitator, traveling internationally to any literacy space where participants value spoken and written discourse.
