Areas of Expertise
Interprofessional education and collaborative practice.
Deanna L. Reising is faculty in the School of Nursing at Indiana University and clinical nurse specialist and system magnet coordinator for Indiana University Health. She teaches nursing students at all levels.
Reising is an expert in interprofessional education and collaborative practice. She developed the “navigator” program, which teams up nursing and medical students. Since the navigator program started, 30-day re-admissions of patients at high risk for readmission to the hospital have been significantly reduced, demonstrating a value-added return-on-investment, benefiting students, patients and the practice environment.View full bio
