Dr. Don Lyon is a clinical professor at the Indiana University School of Optometry and the founder of Vision for the Future, the pediatric vision outreach program at the school. He currently sees pediatric patients, and adult patients with binocular vision disorders. He is an active researcher and is involved in the Pediatric Eye Disease Investigator Group, among other clinical studies.
His primary goal is to teach optometry students how to care for pediatric patients, through clinic, research and community programs. He takes his experience and knowledge to other optometrists through lecturing internationally on pediatric vision topics.
