Xiaoqing Diana Lin came from Beijing, China; attended graduate school in history at the University of Chicago; and is a professor of history at Indiana University Northwest. Her research on modern China focuses on how cultural and political transformations shape intellectual changes. She is the author of "Peking University, Chinese Scholarship and Intellectuals" (SUNY Press, 2005) and "Feng Youlan and Twentieth Century China: An Intellectual Biography" (Brill, 2016), as well as articles on modern China's intellectual landscape.View full bio
