Theodore Randall conducts research in the Gambia, Nigeria and the United States. His research in the Gambia and Nigeria focuses on malaria, traditional medicine and health-service delivery. His research in the United States focuses on substance abuse.
Randall is an associate professor of anthropology in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at Indiana University South Bend. He teaches courses in African-American culture, African culture, applied anthropology, anthropological theory, medical anthropology and anthropological linguistics.
Randall has a Ph.D. in anthropology from the University of Kentucky and an MPH in public health from the University of Illinois at Springﬁeld.View full bio
