Expert Bio
Aila Hoss is a visiting assistant professor and IU Grand Challenge fellow at Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. Her research explores topics in public health law, health policy development, and the impact of federal Indian law and tribal law on health outcomes.
Her recent projects study law and policy interventions to respond to the opioid crisis.
Aila previously served as a staff attorney for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Public Health Law Program, where she worked to improve public health through the provision of legal technical assistance to state, tribal, local and territorial governments.
