Expert Bio

Abigail Sullivan is a human dimensions of natural resources fellow at Indiana University’s Environmental Resilience Institute. She researches how collective action can be most effective in confronting environmental challenges and studies different aspects of governance to uncover how individuals of varying perspectives and priorities can unite to achieve progress in addressing climate change.

Her primary areas of concern in Indiana, Nepal and the southwestern United States are invasive species and freshwater management. Through research, Sullivan hopes to identify key signposts to help communities pinpoint where and when to concentrate efforts to ensure the ongoing, equitable availability of critical natural resources.
