Cancer epidemiology, genetic and molecular epidemiology.
Xin Li is an assistant professor in epidemiology at the Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health. Her research includes identifying susceptible genes, pathways, drug targets and biomarkers for complex disorders, cancer and addiction in particular; detecting gene-environment interaction in carcinogenesis; analyzing multiomics data in population setting; identifying characteristics that predispose people to addictive behaviors; and understanding the relationship between addiction and other mental disorders.
Li holds a Master of Science degree in cancer epidemiology and Doctor of Science degree in genetic and molecular epidemiology from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.View full bio
