Expert Bio
M. Michaux Parker is the associate dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences and chair of the Department of Criminal Justice and Political Science. His research areas include gangs, transnational crime, anosognosic management and bureaupathology.
He is also a professor of criminal justice and serves as the director of institutional effectiveness.
Parker received his Ph.D. in criminal justice from Michigan State University. He received a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science, both in criminal justice, from North Carolina Central University.
