Expert Bio

Martin Swany is chair and professor in the Department of Intelligent Systems Engineering in the School of Informatics, Computing and Engineering at Indiana University. His research interests include computer networks, high-performance computing, Internet of Things, parallel and distributed computing, and software and systems. Swany earned his M.S. in computer science at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville in 1998 and his Ph.D. in computer science at the University of California in Santa Barbara in 2003.
