Expert Bio

Seth Freedman specializes in health economics and health policy. He joined the O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs in 2012 after two years as a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Scholar in Health Policy Research at the University of Michigan. His primary research agenda focuses on innovations in health care and health insurance.

Freedman is particularly interested in the impacts of innovations and changes in the health care delivery system on economic and patient outcomes, the influence of policies and market incentives on the adoption of new innovations, and how recent changes in public health insurance impact the health care system.
