As a synthetic chemist, Ian Taschner has focused on pharmaceutical drugs used in pain management and organic ligands capable of detecting cancer selectively with less false positives. All of these "drugs" were made for clinical research and understanding of each pharmacophore's mechanism of action at select receptor populations.
Taschner studied synthetic chemistry at University of New Hampshire and continued as a postdoctoral fellow at Brock University.View full bio
