$2.8M award to help unravel mysteries of disease-causing DNA folding errors

An Indiana University biologist has been awarded an NIH grant to advance research on DNA folding errors, which have been traced to a wide variety of diseases, including genetic disorders that can cause birth defects or problems with wound healing, as well as certain types of cancer.
