Ballet students in cowboy hats rehearse a scene from “Star on the Rise: La Bayadere ... Reimagined”

The Jacobs School of Music Opera and Ballet Theater created a new-fashioned take on a classic production with their latest ballet. The story’s setting was transformed from an inaccurate representation of India and and placed within the context of a vibrant Western movie set in Golden Age of Hollywood.
