INDIANAPOLIS – Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration Camy Broeker has announced the appointment of Juletta Toliver as senior human resources director/director of financial services.
Toliver has served as interim senior director of human resources since October 2015, in addition to serving as director of the Office of Financial Services since June 2006. Her new appointment was effective March 1. “This change makes permanent all Juletta has been doing in her interim position,” Broeker said.
In this new role, Toliver will be the lead for human resources operations on the IUPUI campus and act as the liaison between university human resources and school human resources contacts. She will continue her financial services responsibilities to direct the operations of payroll, accounts receivable, capital assets, banking services and surplus for the IUPUI campus as well.
“This is an exciting time to be taking on new challenges because HR is undergoing a transformation throughout the IU system,” Toliver said. “The new organizational model depends on forming close partnerships with other HR professionals. I look forward to developing even deeper connections and supporting the IUPUI staff.”
Toliver joined IUPUI almost 30 years ago and has worked in many capacities within human resources including employment, compensation and classification, the human resource management system, and records.
“In addition to her extensive human resources experience, Juletta has provided leadership in financial services at IUPUI for over a decade,” Broeker said. “Her commitment to providing efficient and dependable service to the campus community positioned Juletta as the ideal candidate for this newly expanded position.”
Toliver is also an IUPUI alumna, having earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in organizational leadership at IUPUI.
