The bookstore will follow Campus Center hours, which means it will be open through Dec. 24 for early and late shopping needs. And the store’s online service is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
“We have a lot of sales going on, and we do get a lot of people in here doing their holiday shopping,” said Ana Cabezas, general manager of Barnes & Noble @ IUPUI. “If they’re far away, we get them online.”
This month, the store has been stocked with dozens of new holiday-friendly items, from ugly Christmas sweaters and scrunchies to ornaments and new mugs for that hot cocoa. Warm up to these new products, just in time for the holidays.
Wearing the new IUPUI white baseball T-shirt from Under Armour ($34.98) and full-zip jacket from Columbia ($69.98), Estefania Gomez, left, a sophomore studying biology, receives a gift from TiChari Dillon.
Coffee, tea, chai or whatever gets you moving in the morning drinks well out of three new mugs from the bookstore: From the makers at Nordic, the IUPUI 50th Anniversary mug ($8.98), the speckled IUPUI bistro mug ($14.98) and the black ceramic IUPUI Jaguar mug ($12.98) are great for any hot beverage during these cold winter months.
Alexis Taylor, right, a sophomore nursing student, takes a drink from the new IUPUI Jaguar mug while wearing an Indiana crew pullover sweater ($74.98). Fellow nursing sophomore Kaitlyn Muench looks on while keeping warm in a white head warmer from Logo ($19.98) and an Indiana University black “pack-and-go” jacket ($49.98).
Mechanical engineering graduate student Karan Patel warms up with a mug while wearing the new camo hat from Legacy ($29.98) and the graphite IUPUI stadium hoodie from League ($69.98).
The students display the new IUPUI blanket ($39.98).
More anniversary items join the 50th mug: The 50th Anniversary coasters (left, $74.98) are made of metal and wood, and the 32-ounce 50th Anniversary water bottle (right, $18.98) is perfect for the dehydrated people on your holiday list.
