INDIANAPOLIS – Indiana University President Michael A. McRobbie and IUPUI Chancellor Nasser H. Paydar will take part in a groundbreaking for IUPUI’s newest classroom building at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 23, at Hine Hall on the IUPUI campus.
Innovation Hall, to be built at the southeast corner of Michigan and Blackford streets, will be an adaptable facility to meet the evolving teaching and research needs for programs in the Purdue School of Science, the Purdue School of Engineering and Technology, and the IU School of Informatics and Computing.
The building will include a state-of-the-art interdisciplinary research and lab space, a cleanroom environment, a makerspace, and modernized classrooms and collaborative learning spaces.
Media are encouraged to attend the event, held in conjunction with IUPUI’s 50th-anniversary celebration.
