IUPUI winter break closures

IUPUI will observe a winter break Dec. 23 through Jan. 10. Students can enjoy a break from classes, but the campus and various services will remain open and operating during the break. Following are the amended schedules.

Barnes & Noble

If you’re looking for a familiar place to grab a good book and coffee over break, you can do so at Barnes & Noble Bookstore and Café, which will be open on reduced hours.

Dec. 20 through Jan. 10:

Monday-Friday: 8 a.m.-6 p.m.

Saturdays: 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

Sundays: 11 a.m.-5 p.m.

On Dec. 24 and 31, the store will close at 3 p.m. It will be closed all day Dec. 25 and Jan. 1.

Campus Center

The Campus Center will be open the following hours during the break:

Dec. 20 through Jan. 10:

Monday-Saturday: 7 a.m.-7 p.m.

Sunday: 11 a.m.-7 p.m.

On Dec. 24 and 31, the building will close at 5 p.m., and on Dec. 25 and Jan. 1, the building will be closed.

Campus dining options

The delectable campus dining destinations will operate on amended hours during the winter break, Dec. 23 through Jan. 10.

Brkfst & Co., Pizza Hut, and Erbert and Gerbert’s Bistro in the Campus Center will be closed for the duration of the break.

Chick-fil-A, Panda Express and Simply Puur will operate 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The Market in the Campus Center will operate 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and Caribou Coffee will be open 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Both will be closed Dec. 25 and Jan. 1.

Einstein Bros Bagels will be closed Dec. 23 through Jan. 3 and will be open 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jan. 6 through 10.

Tower Dining, The Den by Denny’s, and Market locations in Tower, Education/Social Work, Inlow Hall and University Library will be closed for the duration of winter beak.

Campus Health clinics

The student-only Campus Health clinic in the Campus Center will be closed Dec. 23 through Jan. 10.

The Coleman Hall clinic will remain open through winter break, with the following hours:

Dec. 23, 24, 27, 30, 31 and Jan. 3: 7:30 a.m.-noon.

Dec. 25 and Jan. 1: Closed.

Dec. 26 and Jan. 2: 8 a.m.-noon.

Regular hours will resume Jan. 6.

Jaguar Campus Recreation

Regular fall operating hours will conclude Dec. 20 for Jaguar Campus Recreation. For winter break, Dec. 21 through Jan. 10, the hours will be as follows:

Monday-Friday: 7 a.m.-6:45 p.m.

Saturday-Sunday: Closed.

On Dec. 24 and 31, the facility will close at 4:45 p.m., and it will be closed on Dec. 25 and Jan. 1. Regular hours will resume Jan. 11.

Paws’ Closet

The closet will be open by appointment only Dec. 16 through Jan. 10. It will resume a regular schedule when classes begin Jan. 13.

Paws’ Pantry

Winter break hours for the pantry will begin the week of Dec. 16 for students, faculty and staff to shop:

Dec. 19: 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Dec. 23-27: Closed.

Jan. 2 and 9: 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Spring semester hours will begin the week of Jan. 13.

Shuttles and Parking

Shuttles do not run on university holidays, which means there will be no shuttle service Dec. 25 and Jan. 1. They will run normal routes and schedules all other days during winter break.

Parking permit holders can enjoy some parking privileges during the break.

Campus Commute will run its normal service through Dec. 23. There will be no service Dec. 23 through Jan. 3. Regular service will resume Jan. 6.

University Library

The library will have extended hours during finals week, Dec. 15 through 19, staying open until 2 a.m. It will also remain open during winter break with an amended schedule.
