IU Board of Trustees approves IU’s annual repair, rehabilitation plan

Jun 12, 2020

The Indiana University Board of Trustees has approved the university’s annual Repair and Rehabilitation Plan for all campuses.

Funded by state appropriations and student fees, the plan focuses on facilities and infrastructure repairs and renovations necessary for continued campus operations. Projects will include repairs or replacement of roofing; stone building facades; elevators; electrical, fire protection, mechanical and plumbing systems; steam, utilities and electricity distribution systems; and classroom and site improvements.

IU president discusses equity, inclusion

“The Repair and Rehabilitation Plan is a crucial piece of our efforts to maintain our facilities at the high level required for our students, faculty and staff to achieve their goals for education and research,” said Thomas A. Morrison, vice president for capital planning and facilities.

“These projects will repair and update not only our buildings and hardscape, but also the infrastructure hidden from view that provides our campuses with water, steam, electricity and other critical systems.”

Beth Feickert is a capital planning project specialist for the IU Office of the Vice President for Capital Planning and Facilities.
