In 2020, the Indiana University Bloomington community came together to make it through a year full of ups and downs. Through the tears, the laughter, the masks and the video calls, we discovered how strong the IU community is.

May 29: The moon, pictured in its first quarter phase, shines through the top of the Arthur Metz Bicentennial Grand Carillon. IU unveiled the new carillon on Jan. 20 to mark the university’s 200th anniversary.
