Think outside Box. Prepare for your move.
Join a webinar to prepare your individual files for migration.
Migrations of individual files continue through the summer. One week before we migrate your data, you will receive an email, alerting you to the change. Most people will be migrated this summer, and you will have read-only access to your Box files after they are migrated. Read-only files can be downloaded but not modified in Box. You will still have access to edit files and folders owned by others who have not yet been migrated.

The Center of Excellence for Women & Technology has 15 positions available in the upcoming 2020-2021 academic school year. In addition to technology positions such as 3D printing and game design, the center is filling positions in communications, social media, event planning, and equity.

Anastasia Morrone named interim dean of the School of Education
Morrone is the current associate vice president of Learning Technologies.
Anastasia “Stacy” Morrone has been named the new interim dean of the IU Bloomington School of Education. Morrone is currently the associate vice president of Learning Technologies with the Office of the Vice President for Information Technology and a professor of educational psychology at the IU Bloomington and IUPUI Schools of Education.
In the university announcement, Morrone was credited for steering IU’s pioneering Teaching and Learning Technologies group to nationally recognized prominence. She comes to the role when technology is more critical than ever in creating teaching and learning environments that keep students and instructors engaged and connected.
A spectacular send-off
Mark Bruhn and Laurie Sullivan earn IU presidential medals for their decades of leadership.
Now that’s ending on a high note. Two long-time UITS staff members were recently awarded Indiana University presidential medals as they embark on their well-earned retirements.
Mark Bruhn, who retired in June as associate vice president for public safety and institutional assurance, received the President’s Medal for Excellence. Laurie Sullivan, who retired in March as associate vice president for enterprise systems, received the Distinguished Service Medal.
