New phishing tool helps keep your data safe
IU security officials report an uptick in thieves trying to steal your data via phishing scams.
Forward suspicious emails to phishing@iu.edu with full headers and use IU’s newly installed phishing tool, the Microsoft Report Message add-on, which replaced the PhishMe add-on.
Be aware. No one at IU will ever ask you for a Duo Mobile passcode, or to approve a Duo Push request.

Duo Self-Service Portal now available
IU is offering a new tool, Duo Self-Service Portal, to help you manage Two-Step Login (Duo) devices. The portal helps you reactivate Duo Mobile on a new phone and enables SMS (text) or phone calls to authenticate and set up an alternate device such as the Duo Mobile app.
Search for Duo Self-Service Portal at One.IU. Questions? Email talk2ims@iu.edu.

Annual IUanyWare user profile to reset on Aug. 12
When you log in to IUanyWare after the August 12 reset:
• IUanyWare may take slightly longer to load while it rebuilds your profile.
• You’ll need to reconfigure personal settings for some of the applications.
• The first time you open an Office application, you’ll be prompted to log in to Microsoft Office.
The reset improves performance and printing capabilities.
