The launch of Anthology Ally on December 20 will provide instructors with additional tools to make their course content more accessible. Students will gain the ability to download alternative formats.

The UITS Support Center phone, email, chat, and walk-in support hours are changing at your campus over winter break. During closings, phone calls will route to an answering service.

Getting Started with IU eTexts: Introducing Engage 2.0

In fall 2022, IU launched Engage 2.0, a refreshed version of the Engage e-reader that’s been in use at IU since 2011. Join a January 4 webinar to get a look at the new interface, new features, and resources to support your transition to the new e-reader.

Transition to Teams for 2023 meetings

With 2022 winding down, now is the time to make sure you have transitioned all 2023 meetings from Skype for Business to Teams. As IU makes the switch from Skype for Business to Microsoft Teams early next year, you’ll no longer have access to Skype for Business.

The holiday break is also a good time to learn more about Teams.

EdCert spring 2023 registration now open

The spring 2023 EdCert schedule offers fundamental- to intermediate-level courses from Microsoft and CompTIA. Classes meet from 9am to 4pm.

Aimed at raising the technical skill set of the IU community, EdCert offers fixed pricing substantially below costs paid by the public sector.

Register by January 11 for Microsoft Azure Fundamentals.
