Expert Bio
Mallori DeSalle is a licensed mental health counselor, nationally certified counselor, medication-assisted treatment specialist and internationally certified prevention specialist. Since 2008, she has been a faculty member in the Department of Applied Health Science in the IU School of Public Health-Bloomington.
She is a member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers, on the National ATTC SBIRT Trainers’ Registry, and on the Board of Directors for the International Association for Applied and Therapeutic Humor. She strategically uses humor, playfulness and general shenanigans as a way to engage learners and create connections for improved communication.
