William Yarber

Expert Bio

William Yarber is a prominent AIDS/STD prevention researcher and a Provost Professor in the IU School of Public Health-Bloomington. He has authored or co-authored over 150 scientific reports on sexual risk behavior and AIDS/STD prevention and has received over $3.5 million in federal grants and state awards to support his work.

He is a member of the the Kinsey Institute Condom Use Research Team, which has investigated male condom use errors and problems and has developed behavioral interventions to improve correct and consistent condom use. He is also senior director of the Rural Center for AIDS/STD Prevention.
