Expert Bio
Angela Andrews, a licensed CPA, is a clinical assistant professor of accounting at the IU Kelley School of Business at IUPUI. She coordinates the Introduction to Financial Accounting classes and teaches Intermediate Accounting.
Andrews’ research has been published in Review of Accounting and Finance. She regularly presents at conferences across the country on accounting teaching techniques. Andrews was chosen in 2010 for an academic accounting fellowship with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
She serves on the Indiana CPA Society Diversity Advisory Council and on numerous committees at IUPUI, including the Division of Undergraduate Education Faculty Committee, Kelley’s Graduate Accounting Programs and Undergraduate Policy Committees, and Kelley’s Academic Fairness Committee.
Before coming to the Kelley School in 2013, Andrews taught at Wayne State University. She earned her Ph.D. from Michigan State, her MBA from Wayne State and a Bachelor of Science in industrial and operations engineering from the University of Michigan.
