Expert Bio
Cristiano Guarana joined the IU Kelley School of Business as an assistant professor in the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship in 2017. His research examines how leaders’ and followers’ limited attentional resources affects decisions, relationships and behaviors in complex organizational contexts.
He earned his Ph.D. in management in 2015 from the University of Washington and worked as post-doctoral researcher at the University of Virginia for two years. Before entering academia, Guarana was an entrepreneur and played professional basketball in Brazil.
