Daria Zieminska is a senior scientist in the Department of Physics and a member of the DZero Collaboration at Fermilab and Atlas Collaboration at Large Hadron Collider, specializing in physics of particles containing a b quark (“beauty” quark). She was born and educated in Warsaw, Poland, and worked at the University of Warsaw, Poland; in Dubna, USSR; in Oxford, U.K.; and at the University of Maryland before coming to IU in 1982.
