Cecilia Obeng is a professor in applied health science and founding director of the Maternal and Child Health Program at the School of Public Health-Bloomington. Her scholarly interests include the role of the family in the development of the child, especially children with health problems.
She has a Ph.D. and Master of Arts from Indiana University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Ghana.
