Expert Bio
Aina Puce is a social neuroscientist with research interests in the brain bases of human nonverbal communication, face perception and action recognition. Her studies in basic and clinical human neuroscience have used scalp and intracranial electroencephalography and functional magnetic resonance imaging methods. Her formal training was in biophysics and functional brain mapping/neurophysiology; she earned her Ph.D. in medicine from the University of Melbourne in Australia.
