Jon Macy is an associate professor in applied health science. His research interests include public health policies, especially tobacco control policies and how they influence tobacco use behaviors; public health program planning, implementation and evaluation; and interventions to promote smoking cessation among adults and tobacco use prevention among adolescents.
He has a Ph.D. from Indiana University, an MPH from Emory University and a bachelor’s degree from DePauw University.
