Expert Bio
Tracy Templeton became the area coordinator of printmaking at Indiana University Bloomington in 2013. Her work has been widely exhibited across the United States, Canada and throughout the world, including more than 150 exhibitions.
She has lectured extensively on her technique and artwork at such institutions as Tokyo University of the Arts; Kyoto Municipal Museum of Art; Instituto Superior de Arte Santa Ana, Buenos Aires, Argentina; and the Warsaw Academy of Art in Poland. Her prints appear in more than 40 collections worldwide, and her work has been published in more than 100 books, magazines, catalogs and journals, including Grapheion: The European Review of Modern Prints, Book, and Paper Art, and a profile in UK-based Printmaking Today.
Previously, she was a full professor at Southern Oregon. She earned her MFA from the University of Alberta and her BFA from the University of Regina, Canada.
