Expert Bio
Andrew C. Pickett is an assistant professor in the Department of Health and Wellness Design at the IU School of Public Health-Bloomington. His research examines inclusive design and management practices for physical activity programs to promote health and prevent chronic disease among traditionally underserved populations.
He earned his Ph.D. from Texas A&M University, with an emphasis in kinesiology-sport management, as well as a graduate certificate in advanced research methods. Before moving to IU Bloomington, he was a faculty member in the Division of Kinesiology & Sport Management at the University of South Dakota.
