Vidhura Tennekoon

Expert Bio
Vidhura S. Tennekoon is an assistant professor of economics at IU Indianapolis. Before joining IU in 2014, he worked at the Department of Economics of the University of Oklahoma and Eastern Washington University. He also has professional experience as a central banker.
He earned his B.S.c degree in Engineering from the University of Peradeniya and an MBA from the University of Colombo in Sri Lanka, where he is from. He earned an M.Sc. degree in economics and econometrics with distinction from the University of Nottingham, U.K. From 2008 to 2012, he attended Washington State University and received a Ph.D. in economics.
