Expert Bio
James Damico is a professor of literacy, culture and language education in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at IU Bloomington. His scholarship and teaching center on critical literacies and inquiry-based approaches for working with digital media and complex topics, especially climate change.
He is the author of three books, along with many research articles and book chapters. He received his Ph.D. in curriculum, teaching and educational policy from Michigan State University.
