In addition to being the graphic design director at IU Southeast’s Fine Arts Department, Kok Cheow Yeoh is also one of the council members for Service Learning and Community Engagement. He has actively participated in several international exhibitions in Malaysia, Singapore, the U.K., Turkey, Italy and China. A recent completed paper, “The Golden Dragon Wok: A Visual Survey of the Evocative Essence of Chinese Restaurant Signage Designs in an American Chinatown, was submitted for publication in The International Journal of Design in Society. His students have also participated in local and international conferences as well as design competitions. Personal interests include Asian culture and identity, travel, places, and people.
