Aaron Setterdahl is professor of chemistry at Indiana University Southeast. His current research is determination and validation of gene function in bacteria; his future interest is in fermentation science, where IU Southeast plans a new degree.
Setterdahl earned his Ph.D. in chemistry and biochemistry from Texas Tech University and his B.S. in chemistry from Iowa State University.
He has published articles in journals of Biochemistry, PLOS Biol, Genome Announcements, Photosynth Res, Mol Microbiol, J Bacteriol, Proc Natl Acad Sci USA, Arch Biochem Biophys, and EMBO.
